One of the villages near Siena that you absolutely must visit is Chiusi, which descends directly from the ancient Etruscan city of Chamars. Chiusi is a wonderful archaeological site to be discovered and made up of buildings of both medieval and Renaissance origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the main square, Piazza del Duomo, you can discover the Episcopal Palace, the bell tower and the Cathedral. Also worth visiting are the Etruscan tombs such as the tomb of the Monkey, the Lion and the Pilgrim.
